ADAPTATION AND EQUIVALENCE COMMISSION

 

 AIM:

  • Determining the eligibility of students applying for horizontal transfer (YG) to our department, their course exemptions, and the grade they will start in.

  • Determining the course exemptions and starting grades of students placed through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS)

  • Determining the exemptions of students who previously studied in other departments from common courses.

  • Decision-making on course exemption proposals from the Student Exchange Programs Commission for students returning from student exchange programs

STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMS COMMISSION

 

 AIM:

  • To carry out students' international exchange programs,

  • Carrying out course adaptations and the conversion of returning students' passing grades and submitting them to the adjustment committee

  • Trying to find solutions to the problems of the students in this program,

  • To contribute to the adaptation of incoming students and the solution of their problems,

  • To increase bilateral relations and make relevant correspondence.

INTERNSHIP COMMISSION

 

 AIM:

  • The internship committee reviews the two-term internship that students of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department must complete, in accordance with the guidelines set out in the General Internship Principles.

  • Checks the suitability of places where students can do their internships.

  • Provides opinions to the Department Academic Council on issues related to student internships.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMISSION

 

AIM:

  • Updating education and training programs and initiating the accreditation process,   
    Organizing the curriculum of the department's undergraduate program,

  • Examining and providing opinions on relevant issues on the Academic Department Board agenda in terms of curriculum compatibility.

  • Organizing double major/minor programs in line with the purpose,

  • It deals with issues such as compulsory elective courses, standards in their coding, and the creation of examination programs.

SCHOLARSHIP COMMISSION

 

 AIM:

  • To inform students in need of financial support about scholarship opportunities,

  • To evaluate scholarship applications,

  • To identify students who meet the criteria for scholarship-granting organizations,

  • To submit a report to the administration regarding the scholarship and loan requests of the identified students.

INFORMATION PROCESSING COMMISSION

 

 AIM:

  • The primary duty of the Commission is to ensure that the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts website remains up to date.

  • The decisions taken by the Department Academic Council are announced on the department website.

  • Other duties of the commission include posting the results of surveys, meetings, seminars, symposiums or social responsibility projects on the department website.
